EMAIL #1: SHOULDER SEASON SENSATION
Subject: The golden window you might be missing…🥂
Body:
Hi [Client Name],
I was sitting at my desk this morning, looking at the madness of the mid-summer travel charts, and I realised something I had to share with you.
While everyone else is currently scrambling to book those peak July and August dates, dealing with the 38°C heatwaves, the 45-minute wait for a pasta table, and those seasonal price hikes, I have clients doing something much smarter…
They’re booking their shoulder season escapes!
If you haven’t experienced this kind of trip yet, let me paint the picture for you:
Imagine walking through the streets of Florence or the white-washed alleys of Paros and actually hearing the birds chirping instead of just camera shutters.
The weather is that perfect sweater or breezy-linen-temperature. You can actually hike, explore, and shop without needing a siesta every two hours to escape the sun.
This is the best part. Because the masses aren't there, your budget stretches so much further. That boutique hotel you loved? It’s suddenly 30% less, and they’ve upgraded you because they have the space.
So, where am I looking right now for the sensation factor?
Portugal in Late September: The Atlantic breeze is still warm, the surf is iconic, and the seafood tastes better when you aren't sharing the terrace with 500 other people.
The Amalfi Coast in May: Before the summer humidity hits. The lemons are huge, the flowers are blooming, and you can actually get a seat on the ferry without a fight.
Morocco in October: The desert heat has softened into something magical, making the souks a dream to navigate.
I’ve cleared a few spots in my calendar this week, specifically to chat with those of you looking to skip the crowds and find these quiet, beautiful windows of time.
If this sounds like your vibe, reply to this email and let me know one place you’ve always wanted to see without the queues. I’d love to help you find the sweet spot for your next escape.
Warmly,
[Your Name]
EMAIL #2: Destination spotlight: Golden window
Subject: The best thing I ever saw in [Destination].
Body:
Hi [Name],
I was looking back through some old travel photos this morning, and I stopped at one from [Month/Year] in [Destination].
I remember the exact moment it was taken. I’d just spent the afternoon wandering through [specific place, e.g., a quiet olive grove / a tiny side street in the Marais] and I realised something...
The things we remember most about our trips aren't usually the big, famous landmarks, it’s everything inbetween!
It’s the way the light hit the water at 6pm. It’s the smell of the bakery around the corner from the hotel. It’s the conversation with the waiter who told us the real history of the town.
That’s the kind of soul-seeing I’m constantly looking for when I’m designing trips for my clients.
If you’re feeling like your 2026 needs a bit more of this, I’m currently opening up my diary for [month] bookings.
You might be craving a quiet Mediterranean escape or a wild African heartbeat! Whatever it is, I’ll help you find a place that actually moves you.

Blog #1 title: Reasons to Trade the Search Engine for a Travel Designer
Ok, let’s be honest. Anyone can click "book" on a website, but in a world of endless tabs and "top 10" lists that all look the same, how do you actually know you’re actually getting the best version of your trip?
Well, here are three reasons why my clients continue to trade the DIY struggle for a dedicated travel planner (hi, that’s me!).
1. I have the unlisted secrets
It’s true. I spend my days researching the corners of the world that don't make it onto the first page of Google. A boutique hotel that only has 6 rooms, a private guide who knows the quietest time to visit the Trevi Fountain – you name it. I’m giving you access to personalised travel on a whole other level.
2. I’m Your "In-Case-of-Emergency" Human
Flight cancelled?
Hotel overbooked?
When you book with an independent agent, you aren't calling a 0800 number and waiting on hold for two hours. You’re calling me. I’m in your corner from the second you leave your house until you’re back home with a suitcase full of memories.
3. I Design for the Vibe, Not Just the Destination
A website doesn't know if you’re a "slow morning and long lunch" person or an "adrenaline and early starts" person. I do, though! I match your energy to the right hotel, the right region, and the right pace.
Got a trip in mind?
If you’re ready to skip the stress and skip straight to the good part (getting there), I’m happy to chat about your 2026/2027 travel plans and help you get them booked here [Link to contact page].
Blog #2: Why the Amalfi Coast is actually better in the Golden Window
The noise, the crowds, the queues – yes, this is a version of the Amalfi Coast that involves bumper-to-bumper traffic and elbowing through crowds in Positano, but there is another version, and it’s the one I want really you to see.
I call it the Golden Window.
If you head to the coast in late spring (say, April/May) or early autumn (September/October), the vibe completely shifts in the Amalfi Coast, and here are three simple reasons why it’s my personal favourite time to book a trip for my clients:
Spring Scents-sation
In April, the lemon groves are in full bloom. The air literally smells like heaven! It’s like a beautiful scent of Spring.
Tables Without the Wait
Imagine walking into that family-run trattoria and getting the best seat in the house without a three-week lead time… I can always recommend, plan and book your table so you don’t have to lift a finger!
The VIP Treatment
Hotel staff have more time to breathe, meaning you get that extra-personal touch that makes a holiday feel like a retreat. Voila!
My Insider Tip…
Don’t just stay in the big-name towns. Ask me about the hidden gems like Ravello or Praiano for a totally different perspective of the coast. I absolutely adore finding quaint places that are lesser-known but offer the same vibe-checks as those potentially crowded hotspots.
If you fancy the golden window version of Italy, I’m currently curating a few bespoke Italian escapes for later this year. Feel free to reply to this email or submit an enquiry here [Link to enquire].
